Bartolome is an island that offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the Galapagos. The island consists of an extinct volcano and a wide variety of volcanic formations in bright red, orange, green, and black colors.

The Bartolome Island day tour starts early in the morning. You go to the Itabaca channel, where your boat will be waiting for us to depart for Bartolome Island, you will take a van or bus from Puerto Ayora.
You will disembark on Bartolome Island and proceed on foot for a short distance to the island’s natural viewpoint, which is located 115 meters above sea level.
Enjoy the spectacular 360-degree view from here. You will see the famed Pinnacle Rock and the adjacent islands.
A walk of about 40 minutes takes you to the top of a wooden staircase and walkways. This is the most photographed motif in the Galapagos.
You can see twins bay, Pinnacle Rock, the lunar landscape, and the underwater crater. In addition, you can see Santiago Island and its famous Sullivan Bay, which is just fascinating.
In addition to the viewpoint, this Bartolome Island tour includes visits to two nearby beaches: the north beach, where you can enjoy the sea, and the south beach, where you can take a walk to see rays and blue sharks. However, swimming and snorkeling are not permitted on this beach because it is a sea turtle nesting area.
You will stop by Sullivan Bay, which is close to Bartolome Island, to round out the day. An intriguing recently produced lava field can be found in this bay. In the calm waters of the bay, you’ll go snorkeling.
Afterward, you will go back to Puerto Ayora.
