Day 2 Wednesday: Isabela - Cape Marshall (2-3 dives)

Today, you will be sailing to Cape Marshall, one of a few diving spots in the northeastern part of Isabela Island. It’s also called ‘City of Mantas’, named for how common it is to observe the peaceful giants in these plankton-rich waters.
Vast marine wildlife is found here, like eagle rays or giant mantas, white tip sharks, sea lions and green sea turtles.

Day 3 Thursday: Darwin Island (4 dives)

Your journey continues this Thursday to the far north of the archipelago, to Darwin Island, named, of course, after the famous scientist. Since the island is one of the smaller ones with no dry landing spot, its real attractions lie inside the pacific ocean along its shores.
Like your diving site for today, Darwin’s Arch. Also nicknamed ‘the theatre’, this place has lots to offer for divers. All your 4 dives today will take place here.
From a protected position near a rocky ledge, you will be able to observe the rich marine life swim by. Hammerheads, Galapagos sharks, black tips or silkies.
Turtles and Bottlenose dolphins, as well as huge schools of tuna and dozens of other species.

Day 4 Friday: Darwin’s Arch - Wolf Island (4 dives)

In the morning, you will have 2 more dives at the arch. This is also a unique place to find the majestic whale shark, the biggest of them all. Between June and December, around 95% of all sightings in the archipelago take place here, the vast majority being females in an advanced state of pregnancy.
As to why whale sharks chose this place in such large numbers remains a mystery. Maybe they give birth in the area? This is one of the many questions the Galapagos Whale Shark Project, and their divers that accompany you here, are trying to answer.
This afternoon, you will sail on to Wolf Island, located a bit south of Darwin.
Due to the strong currents around Wolf, this is the natural habitat of large numbers of hammerheads, galapagos sharks, silkies and blacktip sharks. On your 2 dives here, you will also be able to spot eagle rays and large schools of fish patrolling the rocky shores. If conditions allow it you will also get the offer of a night dive.

Today you will have 3 more dives around Wolf and its many diving spots. Depending on the current conditions your divemasters will pick the perfect spots for you.
You might swim through arches, near cave entrances and along spectacular walls.
The megadiverse wildlife here is nothing but stunning, and you won’t get tired diving among the massive amount of species inhabiting the waters.
In the evening you will set sail for Isabela island, navigating through the night.

Day 6 Sunday: Isabela - Punta Vicente Roca - Fernandina - Cape Douglas (2 dives)

This morning, after breakfast, you will get a chance to see and observe the mighty mola alexandrini, also called mola mola or southern ocean sunfish.
The mola mola approach the wall here to get cleaned by wrasses and angelfish.
    • Sea lions and fur seals also swim around here, often following divers trying to play.

Green sea turtles are present throughout the year, and also whales are often spotted in the waters here.
Later today, you will sail through the Bolivar Channel to Fernandina Island, where Cape Douglas, your next diving spot awaits.
This is where marine iguanas feed in the shallow waters, filmed often for documentaries, including BBC’s Blue Planet I & II. This is a unique experience, only able to be studied in the Galapagos.
The endemic flightless cormorant and the Galapagos penguin also feed here.

Day 7 Monday: Santiago - Cousin’s Rock - Santa Cruz Highlands (2 dives)

Cousin’s rock, this morning's destination, is located north-east of Santiago island near Bartolome. Its topography is unique and stunning, among its sections of jagged rocky shelves, smaller and bigger animals can find shelter for feeding or resting.
Two species of black coral, sponges and colonial tunicates create a beautiful background for all the fish that frequent this area, larger species like hammerheads, and sometimes even pacific seahorses and frogfish.
In the afternoon, you will continue your trip to Santa Cruz Island, the biggest and most populated island of Galapagos. You will have a land excursion here, to the Highlands, the natural habitat of the giant tortoises.
    • You will also make a stop at ‘Los Gemelos’, 2 gigantic sinkholes, often mistaken for craters.

In the evening, take a drink on board and let your thoughts and memories drift into the distance on your last night in these enchanting islands.
